About the Event

Free open house for  spring homeschooling art classes ( which will be  held Tuesdays for clay classes 9-12pm  or Primary, Elementary, and Secondary  Friday Homeschooling art classes starting the following week). The origin and development of marbling was practiced in Japan as early as the 12th century. The first forms of Japanese marbling were called Suminagashi, or “ink floating”. Delicate, swirled patterns were produced on paper when colors of ink were floated on the surface of the water. It has been used for various crafts including not only paper but fabrics, metal, and ceramics. Homeschooling classes begin the following week for spring semester. Register today for this free trial class! Discover more about what we will be doing in spring semester homeschooling art/ clay classes.
