About the Event
Design an embedded/ embossed personalized platter for your special gathering with scripture, personal messaging , initials or the like. Platters are great commemorative gifts for a new couple, a new baby, a baptism, first communion, a wedding… one for your own special family !
In the first workshop, you will build a draped slab platter from scratch and choose your designs for embossing and adding dimension. Ideas will be offered of course !
In two weeks, you will return for the second workshop to glaze your platter in the color choices chosen in workshop 1.
Cost will cover instruction, materials, and 2 kiln firings. Project will be ready 1 month from the start of class.
