This is a 2 part series, next session  we will glaze. Pray as you create! Handbuilding of  a nativity retablo.  We will create a devotional depiction of the nativity using engraving  and textured relief in terra cotta clay. The retablo is a unique genre of art standing for “ behind the altar’ which is meant to bring honor and glory to the Christ Child in the manger within your home.
